The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar has directed the Muslims in the country to start looking for the new crescent of Rabi’ul Assani1445AH tomorrow Saturday the 14 of October 2023, equivalent to Islamic Calendar 29th of Rabi’ul Awwal 1445AH.
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council Sokoto, Prof. Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted, the information should be reported to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan
