Today being Sunday 21 April 2024, the branch of State Fire Service located at Tsanyawa local government area, received an emergency call at about 11:00am from Aminu Yar Gwanda, inform the incident at Yar Gwanda Village in Tsanyawa local government area.
Our men from Tsanyawa arrive at about 11:15am, on their arrival they found one Malam Danjuma, popularly known as Black about 60 years old, a hand set (phone) that had fallen into the toilet pit, he entered with the intention of extracting it, but he was unable to come out, therafter, his son Ibrahim Danjuma, of about 35 years old, tried to save his father, but he also failed to come out, so a third person named Aminu T Gaye, of about 35 years old, tried to save them, he also failed to rescue them out, from there one Abbas Alasan of about 28 years old, tried and failed to do so.
With effort of our men brought out the last person alive, and first three people were rescued unconscious.
Victims handed over to S.P Iro Lado (DPO) Tsanyawa police division.
From there, the police took them to Bichi Special Hospital for medical attention.
