The ISWAP militant group killed 15 farmers while many others were injured as a result of an attack they carried out in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
There are still many people who have not been seen as a result of this attack
According to reports, the terrorists attacked the village at around 10:40 last Sunday night, when the people, mostly fishermen, were about to enter a part of Lake Chad to fish.
Some sources told the press that after the terrorists started, the fighters ordered them to line up and opened fire on them.
Another source said that the ISWAP members took this action as a response to some of their consumer goods that were blocked by the security forces on the road, and they also stole some of them.
According to reports, the militants took away a large amount of dried fish while other people went missing.
This is the third time that the militants have attacked the village in a row despite the fact that the people of the town have informed the authorities but they have failed to reach even a single security officer.
