The International Chess Day (also International Chess Day) is an international day of action that is celebrated annually on July 20. It is also the day of the founding of FIDE, the international chess association (July 20, 1924). The idea to celebrate this day was proposed by UNESCO and has been realized since 1966 after the day was established by FIDE. On this day, FIDE organizes numerous events and competitions.
