On Monday 26 October, 2026 at about 13:00pm hours the Kano State Fire Service received a distress call from Hamisu Muhammad reporting that, a young man had fallen into an open water at Dan Agundi.
Upon receiving the distress call, our team immediately mobilized to the scene of incidence. Upon arrival they conducted a search and successfully recovered the body of the young man from the water by name “Sani Uba Kwaru” of about 42yrs old the victim rescued unconscious.
The Kano State Fire Service urges members of the public to exercise caution around open water and other potentially dangerous areas.
