Kano state government has been worked together with national centre for women development on issued of discriminatory lows,policies and practice affecting women and children in the state.
The honourable commissioner of women affairs and social development Dr Zah’ra’u muhd Umar stated this during a one day worshop on discriminatory lows policies and practice affecting women and children with relevant stakeholders which pointed out the challenges in other to achieve the desire gold’s pertening women and children in Kano a national level at large.
Dr. Zah’ra’u muhd Umar said the Kano state governor Dr Abdullah umar Ganduje send the bill to art on violence against women and children to state house of assambly which past to second reading so per in the house.
In her remark dufuty director national women’ development center Mrs jummai modu said they pionted out many challenges on discriminatory lows that woman and children pacing to be rejected after the workshop.
Speaking early wamban karaye Alhaji muhd mahraz who spoke on behalf of the traditional rulers said elaborated stakeholders includes legal practitioners, reserchers from University members of community based organization and non_ governmental organization makes questions, observatios and comments during workshop.jamila sulaiman Aliyu
