An Iranian missile strike targeting a U.S. military base in Kuwait has reportedly injured five American personnel and damaged an MQ-9 Reaper drone, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The attack reportedly occurred after Tehran accused the United States of violating an existing ceasefire agreement, further escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Sources cited in the report said the missile was aimed at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Although Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted the projectile, debris from the strike reportedly caused injuries to U.S. service members and contractors while also damaging American military equipment.
The incident marks another serious flare-up in the ongoing standoff between Washington and Tehran, raising concerns about the stability of the fragile ceasefire and the risk of wider regional conflict.
