Dr. Zhang Xue, a renowned urology specialist, remotely removed a prostate tumor from a 57-year-old patient in Jingzhou while operating from Ürümqi.
Using real-time endoscopic imaging and a robotic surgical system connected through a high-speed 5G network, Dr. Zhang was able to perform the procedure with remarkable precision. The system recorded an ultra-low transmission delay of just 0.009 seconds, allowing seamless real-time control of the surgical instruments.
