Iran has officially inaugurated West Asia’s largest cancer treatment hospital, the Iran Cancer Institute, located within the Imam Khomeini Hospital Complex in Tehran.
The newly opened state-of-the-art medical facility includes 37 specialized departments, advanced imaging and radiotherapy units, and 96 chemotherapy beds designed to strengthen cancer diagnosis and treatment services across the region.
According to Iranian officials, the modern center is expected to play a major role in providing specialized and super-specialized cancer care for both adults and children.
