Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has departed on a major five-nation diplomatic tour covering Italy, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, The Netherlands and Norway. The visit is expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in energy security, trade and investment, technology development, defence partnerships and strategic relations between India and the five countries.
According to reports, the discussions during the trip could involve agreements and investments worth nearly $70 billion. Energy security is expected to remain one of the key priorities as India seeks stronger partnerships to secure stable oil, gas and renewable energy supplies amid global economic uncertainty and rising geopolitical tensions.
The tour will also focus heavily on advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors and green technology.
