THE HONORABLE COMMISSIONER FOR WOMEN, CHILDREN AND THE DISABLED VISITS THE REMAND HOME AT GORON DUTSE IN CONTINUATION WITH HER FAMILIARIZATION TOUR OF THE FORMATIONS UNDER HER MINISTRY.
The Honorable Commissioner Hajiya Aisha Lawal Saji visits the Remand Home where she discussed with the officer in-charge Musa Idris Tarauni where he intimated her with the problems that are militating against the Remand Home’s efficient and effective functioning.
The Commissioner having had the problems of the Remand Home has enumerated by the officer in-charge she however promised to supply them with more foods stuffs, kitchen utensils and toiletries.
The Honorable after observing the non availability of a medical facility in the Remand Home, she pledged to provide them with a suitable infrastructure, drugs and personnel.
Aisha Saji in her magnanimity and by way of decongesting the home has also promised to make a bailout gesture to some of the inmates whose dues range from fifteen to fifty thousand Naira.
She also advised the inmates to take their studies serious both Western and Islamic education and to be of good moral behaviors.
