The Kano state governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has promised a fair representation of the business community in his cabinet.
He assured them of a commssioner who will come from their midst and also other positions that will give the community the best representation.
Kano state government House correspondent Adamu Dabo Said the governor was speaking when he hosted the business community in Kano at the government house in the state.
He said his administration will promote business in the state and assured the businessmen and women of his commitment to supporting modern ways of doing business especially in the digital age.
The governor also told the businessmen of the plan to restructure the Kano markets while carrying everybody along.
He said the government will also decongest the city by opening new new commercial areas and urged the younger generation of merchants to utilize the opportunity.
The deputy governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam reiterated the government’s efforts at curbing the corrupt practise of the State road traffic officials known as KAROTA who under the past administration have become notorious for extortion.
