In the Command’s determination to effectively Police Kano State and to sustain efforts in decimating all criminal activities by re-strategizing to meet the security demand of the dynamic Kano State, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi meets with the Command’s Management Team.
The announcement contained in a statement by police public relations officer SP Abdullahi Haruna Kyawa, he said CP appreciates the Officers for the feat achieved in securing the State so far, and also charged the Officers to operate with fear of God, continue to work according to the ethics of the Force, and by International Best Practices.
He also charged officers to key into the Vision and Mission of IGP Alkali Baba Usman, psc(+), NPM, fdc by remaining steadfast & resolute in decimating all criminal activities.
The command has been recording successes in sustaining peace in the State, so the need to sustain the tempo. A Strategic Plan of Action was carefully employed.
The meeting centered on the provision of security everywhere in the State through Community Oriented Policing, Intelligence-led Policing, Visibility Policing, and Synergy with other Sister Security Agencies especially as the Eid-El Kabir Sallah Celebration approaches.
Also, on the 28th of June 2022, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Kano State Chapter led by Alhaji Isah Nuhu Isah, and Kano State Disaster Management Training Centre (KSDMTC) under State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) led by Prof Rabi’u Magaji, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi at the Bompai Police Headquarters, Kano.

In his remark, the Deputy Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Kano State Chapter, Alhaji Isah Nuhu Isah, stated that “we visited the command to appreciate the CP for his effort in policing Kano State and to introduce ourselves as the new leaders that will steer the activities of IPAC in Kano State. We are very much aware that the general election preparations have started. We will give you all our support to ensure a peaceful process. We seek your continuous support and cooperation CP.

In his remark also, Prof Rabi’u Magaji, the team leader of the newly established Kano State Disaster Management Training Centre (KSDMTC) stated that “we visited the to discuss and seek for your cooperation and chart possible areas of collaborations for the successful establishment and take-up of the center.
5. In his dual responses, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko fsi appreciates them for the visit and assures them of the command’s readiness to give all needed support and cooperation.
