Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced that the first tranche of Iran’s frozen assets held by the United States will soon be released. According to Iranian media reports, $6 billion out of the total $12 billion in blocked Iranian funds is set to be unlocked in the initial phase.
President Pezeshkian described the move as an important step toward easing financial restrictions on Iran, while details regarding the timeline and conditions for the release of the remaining funds have not yet been disclosed.
