Vice President Kashim Shettima on Monday represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the first-year remembrance, prayer and supplication held in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, at the Nigerian Army International Conference Centre in Abuja.
Attending as the Special Guest of Honour on behalf of President Tinubu, the Vice President conveyed the Federal Government’s goodwill and solidarity to the family of the late president, as well as to all Nigerians remembering his life and legacy. The remembrance event featured prayers and supplications for the peaceful repose of Buhari’s soul, while dignitaries,
government officials, family members and well-wishers gathered to pay tribute to the former Nigerian leader and reflect on his contributions to the nation.
