The National Secretariat of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has received with profound sadness the news of the passing of Hajiya Sadiya Ibrahim Ladan, beloved mother of our National Secretary, Comrade Wasilah Ladan, and the Chairperson of NAWOJ Jigawa State Chapter, Comrade Hauwa Ibrahim Ladan.
On behalf of the National Executive Council and the entire NAWOJ family across the Federation, the National Chairperson, Aishatu Ibrahim, extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. We share in your grief and pray that Almighty Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, forgives her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds, widens and illuminates her grave, and grants her the highest station in Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
The loss of a loving mother is a pain beyond words, but we take solace in the promise of Allah that every soul shall return to Him.
May the beautiful memories of her life, kindness, and enduring legacy continue to comfort and strengthen the entire family uring this moment of immense sorrow.

Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall all return.
