Nigerian police force Kano command stated that the three additional suspects are arrested for producing fake Motor Vehicles documents, and three recovered Motor Vehicles are yet to be claimed.

The police public relations officer of Kano State SP Abdullahi Haruna Kyawa disclosed this in a statement made available to news men in Kano State.
He said In continuation of a case of suspected Motor Vehicles theft, where one Odinaka Godwin, ‘m’, and two others were arrested in possession of nine (9) Pairs of Motor Vehicles number plates, a total of ten (10) Motor Vehicles were so far recovered. The Commissioner of Police had directed that seven (7) of the recovered stolen Motor Vehicles were handed over to owners, whereas, the following Motor Vehicles are yet to be claimed;
i. Toyota Camry LE Motor Vehicle, Golden Colour with Registration Number ADK-885AE, Ekiti
ii. Toyota RAV4 Motor Vehicle, Black in colour with Registration Number APP-35BP Lagos
iii. Toyota Camry LE Motor Vehicle, Ash in Colour without Registration Number.
2. Discreet investigation also led to the arrest of one Abdulra’uf Olalade, ‘m’, 57 years old Fagge Quarters Kano. His accomplices, Abdullahi Suleman, ‘m’, 52 years old of Kurna Quarters Kano, and Suleman Ibrahim, ‘m’, 57 years old Haye Hotoron Arewa Quarters Kano were arrested. The suspects confessed to having specialized in producing fake Motor Vehicles Documents. The discreet investigation is in progress after which suspects will be charged to court for prosecution. 3. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi reiterates that criminals will have no hiding place in Kano State. They are advised to either repent or leave the State completely. Otherwise, they will be arrested and face the full wrath of the law. He thanked the good people of Kano State for their prayers, encouragement, continuous support, and cooperation. He urged residents to continue to pray for the State, the Nation and report incidences to the nearest Police Station, and not take laws into their hands. Rigorous patrol and raids of criminal hideouts and black spots will continue throughout the State, as the Command will sustain the ongoing “Operation Puff Adder”.
