Kano State Hisbah Board has described the Safety on our major roads as an everybody’s business, pledged to fully collaborate efforts wit the state sector commads of the FRSC to achieve the desired goals on minimizing lost of lives and properties on our major roads.
The Commander General of the Board, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa announced this while receiving the state sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission who is on advocacy visit to Hisbah Board headquarters, Sharada quarters.
The Commander General who spoke through the board’s Director General DG Alhaji Abba Sa’id Sufi said Hisbah Board took the issues of training of it’s Corps with all seriousness concerned, added that immediately, after ending the Holy month of Ramadan Fast, the management will swing into action to see that, it make good use of the opportunity giving.
Alhaji Abba Sa’id Sufi also pointed out that previously, Hisbah Board posted it’s Corps to pedestrian in schools, Hospitals, mosques, and market places to ensure the use of zebra crossing or bridge where provided when crossing the roads, and with the coming of KAROTA, it withdraw such services.
Earlier speaking the state sector Commandant of the FRSC, Ibrahim Sallau Abdullahi said he was at the agency’s headquarters to discuss with the management on important issues and views that are benefited to both and would move the state forward on the fight against major roads traffic violation.
Ibrahim Sallau Abdullahi used the advocacy visit and advised, Hisbah Board to fully utilize the training section of the commission, through the registering their drivers to acquire property training on driving and vehicles maintainace, aims at reducing resources west and crashed road accident.
The state sector Commandant further described the management of Hisbah Board and it’s personal as a varitable tulls, necessary for the reshaping people’s minds, and safe guiding, who has vast knowledge and good conduct of the schemes of all affairs, urged them , as a uniform, to join FRSC marshall section so that, they can help too, In reinforcing roads rules and regulations, more especially, in the areas of traffic control and traffic violation on our major roads and traffic lights and rounds.
The FRSC Sallau Abdullahi also urged members of the state Ulama’s as a matter of urgents and concernes to continue using the Holy month of Ramadan to enlighten people, particularly, motorist and other roads users not to engage driving vehicles or enter roads without a proper drivers license or documents, as this cause a lot of fatal accidents.
He then appealed on the management of Hisbah Board to involve and include all the FRSC personal that are working in the 44 local governments areas into, Hisbah Advisory Committee, this he said would ensure more positive results, and the good conduct of fight against mis use of our major roads and traffic, and when roads users sees Hisbah and FRSC men are working together, it. Would add more credence to the woks that, they are doing.
