China Warns Gulf States Over US Use of Their Territory

Claims circulating on social media allege that China has issued a strong warning to Gulf nations, urging them to prevent the United States from using their territory to launch attacks on Iran if they wish to protect their oil infrastructure. The posts describe the statement as Beijing “drawing a red line” and suggest that China is taking a more assertive stance in the regional crisis.

According to the viral claim, China warned that allowing foreign military operations against Iran from Gulf territory could expose the region’s energy facilities to greater risks. The posts further suggest that Beijing is no longer remaining neutral as tensions in the Middle East continue to rise.

However, there has been no official confirmation from the Chinese government or its Ministry of Foreign Affairs that such a statement has been issued. Likewise, no credible international news agency has reported that Beijing delivered this specific warning to Gulf states.

China has consistently called for dialogue, restraint and a peaceful resolution to regional conflicts while maintaining close economic and diplomatic ties with both Iran and Gulf countries. Until official confirmation emerges, the claim should be treated as unverified.
