China’s Defense Minister has issued a sharp warning, stating that if Beijing’s sovereignty over Taiwan is challenged, U.S. military bases in Japan and South Korea could become “legitimate targets.”
The minister stressed that China “will not tolerate any foreign interference” in the Taiwan issue, escalating tensions across the Indo-Pacific region amid growing military and diplomatic rivalry between Beijing and Washington.
