Abdullahi Dahiru Kabo, MPh, PhD, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Gwarzo/Kabo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives during the 2027 general elections. He said his decision was inspired by a strong desire to serve the people and provide effective representation at the National Assembly.
Kabo, who is a founding member of the Foundation for a Greater Tomorrow (FGT), described himself as a strong advocate for youth empowerment and participation in governance. He stated that his journey and experiences have helped him understand the struggles faced by young and vulnerable people in society, adding that he remains committed to giving hope and opportunities to the youth.
According to him, his ambition is driven by the need to restore hope, support women and young people, and promote people-centered legislation that will improve the lives of citizens. He promised to provide purposeful leadership based on integrity, inclusion, sincerity, and development if elected into office.
The aspirant also appealed to the people of Gwarzo and Kabo Federal Constituency to support his bid, saying his intention is not based on personal interest but on genuine commitment to the progress of the constituency. He expressed confidence that his experience and understanding of grassroots challenges would enable him to deliver quality representation and contribute positively to national development.
