Kano State High Court presided over by Justice Hadiza Suleiman has sentenced one Inusa Ubale to 21 years imprisonment for commiting rape against 12 and 13 years old girls
Acccording to the charge sheet, Inusa Ubale of Kadawa Village in Garun malan LGA sometimes in the month of August 2016 decieved the victims, where he severally and separately raped them in his friend’s room, uba sankira.
The offence which the Prosecution counsel said contravened section 283 of Penal code law of Kano State 1991 as amended.
To prove his case, the Prosecution counsel called four witnesses and tendered two exhibits.
On the other hand, inusa ubale testified for himself and called no any witness, he similarly not tendered any exhibit.
In her judgement, Justice Suleiman found out that the evidence adduced by both counsel proved that Inusa Ubale committed the offence of rape as charged
“You’re hereby sentenced to 21 years imprisonment, consquently, the sentence to be commence from the date of first arrest
