Kano State fire service reported the outbreak of fire at kasuwar Bridge yankatako.
Public relations officer of Kano State Fire Service ACFO Saminu Yusif Abdullahi said the command ”received a call for emergency assistance from ASP U.I. BUSHIRA of Dakata police Division reported an outbreak of fire at Kasuwar Brigade Yan Katako at about 01:51 am, the crew on duty from Bompai fire station were mobilized to the scene of incidence and arrived at about 01:56 am.
He said “on their arrival, they found two shops in the market engulfed by fire, with effort of our men they successfully control the situation at the affected shops.
He added that the second fire started at the same place and two other shop engulfed by fire and the total damage is stopped for only four shops which is the fire was control by the crew on duty and stopped the spreading of the fire to the nearby shops.
The fire started when electric power is back at the area and sucfected one of the electrical appliances is on which is lead to the fire incidence.
