Gidan Addu’a Community Gets Electricity Support From NGO

Residents of Gidan-Addu’a village in Baure District, Kura Local Government Area, have expressed happiness after receiving electricity support from a non-governmental organization led by Alhaji Malam Usman.

The head of the foundation, Alhaji Usman, said the organization decided to provide electricity to the village in order to improve the living conditions of the people and support development in the community.

He explained that the electricity project will help provide clean drinking water, support water supply for animals, and create opportunities for small businesses such as solar-powered phone charging services.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the representative of the District Head of Baure, Alhaji Adamu Yusuf, thanked the foundation for the support. He said the people of the area had lived for many years without electricity and only saw power supply in neighboring communities until the foundation brought the project to their village.
